How to use

Viagra Super Active + comes as a gelatine capsule to take by mouth. It should be taken as needed about 5–10 minutes before sexual activity and the effect will last upto 50 hours. Drug Class and Mechanism

The engorgement of the penis with blood leads to penile erection. This engorgement appears in case of delivering blood to the penis by the blood vessels which results to extending in size and increasement the delivery of blood to the penis. Under normal conditions, sexual stimulation provoke the production and release of nitric oxide in the penis. Nitric oxide then activates the enzyme, guanylate cyclase, which causes the production of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). This enzyme is necessary for the erection by affecting the quantity of blood that the blood vessels deliver and remove from the penis. Viagra Super Active + also decreases the pressure in the pulmonary artery in a serious condition called pulmonary arterial hypertension. By blocking an enzyme called phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) which destroys the cGMP sildenafil averts the destruction of cGMP and allows cGMP to accumulate and persist longer. This situation leads to more prolonged engorgement of the penis.

Missed Dose

Use only as and when needed. Do not take two doses in a day.

Storage

Keep Viagra Super Active + out of the reach of children. Store at 25C (77F); excursions permitted to 15–30C (59–86F).

Overdose

Dizziness, fainting, chest pain and an irregular heartbeat are some of the typical symptoms of an overdose. Seek medical attention immediately if you suspect an overdose.

Warnings/Precautions

Do not use Viagra Super Active + if:

you are allergic to any ingredient in Viagra Super Active +;
you have been advised by your doctor to avoid sexual activity because of heart problems;
you are taking nitrates (e.g., isosorbide, nitroglycerin) in any form (e.g., tablet, capsule, patch, ointment) or nitroprusside;
you use certain recreational drugs called "poppers" (e.g., amyl nitrate, butyl nitrate). Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

Important:

Viagra Super Active + may cause dizziness, drowsiness, fainting, or blurred vision. These effects may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain medicines. Use Viagra Super Active + with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to it.
Patients with heart problems who take Viagra Super Active + may be at increased risk for heart-related side effects, including heart attack or stroke. Symptoms of a heart attack may include chest, shoulder, neck, or jaw pain; numbness of an arm or leg; severe dizziness, headache, nausea, stomach pain, or vomiting; fainting; or vision changes. Symptoms of a stroke may include confusion, vision or speech changes, one-sided weakness, or fainting. Contact your doctor or seek medical attention right away if you experience these symptoms.
Do not use other medicines or treatments for erectile dysfunction while you are taking Viagra Super Active +.
Viagra Super Active + does not stop the spread of HIV or other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) to others through sexual contact. Use barrier methods of birth control (e.g., condoms) if you have HIV infection or an STD.
Viagra Super Active + will not prevent pregnancy. If your partner may become pregnant and you wish to avoid pregnancy, be sure to use an effective form of birth control.
Use Viagra Super Active + with caution in the elderly; they may be more sensitive to its effects.
Viagra Super Active + is not recommended for use in children; safety and effectiveness in children have not been confirmed.

If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Sildenafil while you are pregnant. It is not known if Viagra Super Active + is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Viagra Super Active +, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, Viagra Super Active + can cause some side effects. These effects are usually mild to moderate and usually don't last longer than a few hours. Some of these side effects are more likely to occur with higher doses. If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop taking sildenafil and seek emergency medical attention or notify your doctor immediately:

an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
chest pain or an irregular heartbeat;
swelling of the ankles or legs;
shortness of breath;
prolonged or severe dizziness;
a prolonged (lasting longer than 4 hours) or painful erection; or
dizziness, nausea, or angina (pain, tightness, discomfort, numbness, or tingling in the chest, arms, neck, or jaw). Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur. Continue to take sildenafil and talk to your doctor if you experience
flushing;
mild dizziness;
headache;
nasal congestion;
diarrhea;
temporary blue tint in vision or other vision abnormalities; or
itching or a rash.

Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.
